To All at Bright Start Homes

I just want to say thank you for giving me the 'Brightstart' to discover a whole new life without using drugs. Since moving in back in November 2022 the support and guidance I have been given has been second to none. The standard of accommodation you accepted me into is the highest quality I have ever had the privilege to live in.

My recovery journey is and always will be up to myself and now I'm 10 months clean It just shows that an addict can change behaviours and live the peaceful life away from the chaos it brings.

Words are difficult to express my gratitude but honestly Thank You all for being part of my journey in recovery so far. 

I moved in to Bright Start homes in May 2023 after a difficult few years. When I moved in, I was committed to changing my life for me, my partner and our children. They had stood by me during really difficult times.

I was made up with my room, the house I lived in and the support from the other lads. I got stuck in straight away and soon my week was filled with recovery activity’s, one to one support and 12 step meetings. I had never had such a full week. I really threw myself in as I didn’t want to go back to my old ways.

Gradually I was able to rebuild my life and get back the things I had lost.

I still continue to do recovery activities as I don’t want to go back but today I am clean and have an amazing relationship with my son and my partners children.

My partner has stood by me and now I am able to repay her and be the best partner I can. I am present and there for her.

I am now ready to move out of Bright start and have worked hard training and have now secured a full time job.

I am going to move in with my partner and am ready to start the next chapter of our life’s. Thank you Bright start for helping me put my past behind me and look forward to a Bright new Start ❤️❤️❤️
